Help with blogging...

Hello fellow pilgrims in cyberspace. I wanted to launch a request out there. I'm really new to the blogging world and would love to know the basics (i.e. best software, basic set up ideas, stuff like that).

I'm sure there's tons of stuff out there and I would love to learn.

Thanks!

P.S. -- Don't forget about "Code Breakers". It's a surprisingly good movie and makes some pretty powerful statements. I look forward to talking about it...

Hey man. Hope you are well. Glad your voice has been added to the blogging world.

Holly and I had a baby boy about 5 1/2 weeks ago. And then we finished our pilgrimage and moved to San Francisco. Working on a new album. Living in a beautiful place with a great community around us.

As always, you can keep up with our personal rants, raves, thoughts, hopes, dreams of Kingdom Come on my blog.

Cheers,
Ryan Sharp

Ted,

Some things that I've just recently enjoyed:

Having a program like newsgator or bloglines that monitors all of your friends' blogs so you don't have to. You can set up an account and log in to check out latest updates and stuff.

I also used this code:

**/ #b-navbar {height:0px;visibility:hidden;display:none} /**

to hide the Blogger search bar at the top of the page just for aesthetic reasons. Just embed it at the beginning of your template.

And I set up a Flickr account to post pics of what I'm reading and listening to. They give you the option to post a "badge" in your blog profile. It's pretty self explanatory with some patience.

That's all so far!

Good luck, let me know if you have any questions or anything,

Reagan

Ted,

Long time no talk! I used to be on blogger but find that wordpress is pound for pound the best blogger tool around with all the plugins and ease of use. And, if you decide to switch over you can import this blog you have started!

Peace
