I'm up a little later than normal writing a paper for my "preaching" class and rediscovered a great CD, Charlie Hall's "On The Road To Beautiful". Of the three "Passion" guys Charlie gets the least press, but he continues to be my favorite from a lead-worshiper stand point. I always leave my experiences with his music inspired and longing to be more creative. I know this work was written during a difficult time in his life and there is an authenticity to it that I had forgotten, but found again tonight and have enjoyed.

HEY S.O.! Hope things are well in Big D.

My paper was on "sermon design". At first I thought the subject might be a little dry, but I've actually found it to be the opposite. It's been challenging and fun to not only learn the mechanics but study the art ya know. Thanks for asking bro.

Are you still gracing the halls of DTS?

nope. Just took the one class for now. I meant to audit something, and the chance might be there for the spring - but I always feel like I should just be taking time to read on my own and I'd be good there. That just happens less (as you prob. know)

Glad you posted another examen this week. I needed it.
