I started this morning with a timely reminder of the importance of perspective...
"Over the years we have developed the idea that being present to people in all their needs is our greatest and primary vocation. The Bible does not seem to support this. Jesus' primary concern was to be obedient to his Father, to live constantly in his presence. Only then did it become clear to him what his task was in his relationships with people."
- Henri Nouwen
"We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
- Paul, 2 Cor. 4:18
Now the task is to not linger in observation, but serve as an ambassador; and not merely talk about change...but be an agent of change!
